San Luis Obispo, CA – Lezyne, manufacturer of premium bike lights and bicycle accessories, has released its latest high-performance bike light engineered for road bike cockpits. Named the Road Drive 500, the new light is machined from durable, lightweight aluminum and crafted into an incredibly thin design. Its aerodynamic shape features a super low-profile quarter-turn mount that integrates cleanly with the front of a road bike. The Road Drive 500 sets a new standard in a streamlined bike light with its 500-lumen Daytime Flash mode and a powerful beam that lights up the road at night. And it can run for up to 55 hours on a full charge.
The light is entirely designed, engineered, and produced in-house by Lezyne using premium materials and the latest hardware and emitters. Its lens and optics have been optimized for road cycling, providing maximum visibility in a low-profile build. It has an IPX7 waterproof rating and is USB-C rechargeable. The light also features a user-replaceable battery, which meets the EU battery regulation (2023/1542) requirement.
Additionally, Lezyne offers two handlebar mounts for the light that are also compatible with Garmin or Wahoo devices: the Flexi Forward Mount and the Flexi Aero Mount. Both mounts are precision machined from aluminum. The Flexi Aero Mount fits most 2-bolt mounting systems common on one-piece bar-and-stem setups. The light also includes an adapter that fits GoPro-style mounts, adding further compatibility and versatility.
